Elkhorn High School Women’s Tennis - Sectional Champions. State Bound. What a Season!
There is a lot to celebrate in Elkhorn tennis!
Congratulations to Coach Adam Westhauser and the Elkhorn High School Women’s Tennis Team on an outstanding sectional championship and an exciting trip to the 2026 WIAA Girls Tennis Team State Tournament!
The team has earned its spot among Wisconsin’s top high school girls tennis programs and will compete at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison on October 23 & 24 for the WIAA Team State Championship.
And for the Four Lakes Athletic Club tennis community, this accomplishment is especially exciting because so many of the athletes competing for Elkhorn are also part of the FLAC Junior Tennis program!
A Big FLAC Shout-Out to Our Junior Players
We are incredibly proud to see 10 FLAC Junior Players represented on the Elkhorn High School Women’s Tennis Team:
Alexis Colosimo
Lia Greving
Aubree Hochstrasser
Audrey Jens
Charlotte Meyer
Kate Paddock
Katelyn Petz
Bailey Sieberer
Natalie Wissell
Dagney Ruecker
These athletes are a great example of what can happen when young players have opportunities to learn, train, compete, and grow in the sport of tennis.
At FLAC, our Junior Tennis program is designed to help players build skills and confidence while developing their game through consistent instruction, practice, and competition. Seeing our junior players take those skills onto their high school courts - and now onto the state stage - is something our entire tennis community can celebrate.
Their success is a reminder that junior tennis development matters. The hours spent working on technique, movement, strategy, and consistency can add up to big moments when competition matters most.
Congratulations, Coach Adam Westhauser!
This achievement is also a great moment to recognize Adam Westhauser, FLAC Tennis Pro and Tournament Director, who coaches the Elkhorn High School girls tennis team.
Adam brings his experience as a tennis professional, coach, and tournament director to players both on and off the court. His work with developing athletes and creating competitive opportunities throughout the tennis community helps players take the next step in their game.
And now, he gets to lead the Elkhorn girls into one of the biggest competitions of their season.
Congratulations, Coach Adam!
WIAA Team State Is Coming to Madison
The 2026 WIAA Girls Tennis Team State Tournament takes place at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison on Friday and Saturday, October 23 & 24.
For Division 1, the tournament begins with quarterfinal action at 4 p.m. Friday, October 23, followed by semifinal competition at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 24, with the championship match following later Saturday.
Nielsen Tennis Stadium has a long history with Wisconsin high school tennis. The WIAA notes that the state tennis tournament has been held at Nielsen’s indoor courts since 1974, making it a special setting for Wisconsin tennis players competing for a state championship.
For these Elkhorn athletes, it is an opportunity to put everything they've worked on throughout the season to the test.
And we can't wait to see them compete.

From FLAC Junior Tennis to the State Stage
One of the best parts of tennis is watching a player’s journey unfold.
A young player picks up a racquet. They learn the fundamentals. They discover how to rally. They learn how to compete. They experience wins, losses, frustration, and breakthroughs. They keep practicing. They keep improving.
Then one day, they are standing on a state championship court.
That journey is exactly why we love junior tennis at Four Lakes Athletic Club.
We are proud to provide opportunities for young players in the Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, and Southeastern Wisconsin area to develop their tennis skills, gain competitive experience, and continue growing as athletes.
And when those players take what they've learned at FLAC into high school competition, we're cheering louder than everyone else.
Congratulations to Coach Adam Westhauser, the Elkhorn High School Women’s Tennis Team, and our FLAC Junior Players!
Sectional Champions. WIAA Team State Bound.
We'll see you in Madison!
