Getting Ready for Session 1: It’s Time to Get Back in the Swing

Summer has a way of changing our routines. Vacations, busy schedules, longer days and time spent outdoors can make it easy for tennis to take a back seat for a few weeks. But as August winds down and fall approaches, it’s the perfect time to get back in the swing of things.

Session 1 of our 2026–2027 indoor tennis programming is nearly here, and there’s still time to join!
Whether you’re returning to a familiar class, getting back on the court after a summer break, or looking for a new way to make tennis part of your weekly routine, now is the time to get started.

Back to Routine, Back to the Court.

Getting back into tennis doesn’t have to mean jumping in at 100 percent. Start by getting your racquet back in your hand, reconnecting with your group and rebuilding your rhythm. A regular weekly lesson or drill can make it easier to stay consistent and gives you something to look forward to each week.

And if your summer schedule left you a little rusty, don’t worry. That’s part of getting back in the swing. The goal is to build consistency, sharpen your skills and enjoy being back on the court.

Why Start Now?

Fall is one of the best times to establish a tennis routine. With indoor courts, structured programming, and a full Session 1 schedule, you can make tennis a regular part of your week without worrying about the changing weather.

Plus, you don’t have to wait for the “perfect” time to start. The best time to get back on the court is simply when you’re ready.

Session 1 Is Almost Here!

Session 1 runs August 24 through November 1, with no classes on Labor Day, September 7. Registration is still open, so if you’ve been thinking about joining a class or getting back into tennis, this is your final push to get on the schedule.

Ready to get back in the swing? Register for Session 1 and make tennis part of your fall routine.

Whether you’re returning to the court or starting something new, we’ll see you at Four Lakes Athletic Club.
