Let's Keep Our Lobby Looking Its Best!

Great Tennis. Great Community. Shared Responsibility.

At Four Lakes Athletic Club, our tennis community is about more than what happens on the court. It's about the friendships, encouragement, sportsmanship, and connections that make FLAC such a great place to play.

Whether you're here for a weekly tennis drill, cheering on your junior player, or spending the weekend at a tournament, our lobby and tennis viewing area are shared spaces for everyone to enjoy.

With a busy indoor tennis season underway, we're serving up a friendly reminder: Let's keep our lobby looking its best!

Long Match Days, Little Messes!

We know tennis tournaments and match days can make for long hours. Between matches, snacks, conversations, and cheering from the sidelines, our lobby can get pretty busy!

We love seeing our tennis families and spectators filling the space, but with that excitement comes a little shared responsibility.

Before you leave your spot, take a moment to make sure it's ready for the next person.

A few simple courtesies make a big difference:

  • Clean up after yourself. Throw away food wrappers, drink containers, napkins, and other trash.

  • Moved a chair? Move it back! Feel free to get comfortable, but return furniture to its original location when you're finished.

  • Keep personal belongings together. Avoid spreading bags, jackets, racquets, and equipment across chairs, tables, or walkways.

  • Don't leave food behind. Leftover snacks, spills, and forgotten drinks shouldn't become someone else's responsibility.

  • Share the space. On busy match days, be mindful of others looking for a place to sit, watch, or wait.

Our lobby is a viewing area, gathering space, and welcoming first impression for everyone entering FLAC. Let's treat it that way!

Little Spectators Need Supervision, Too!

We love seeing families supporting their young tennis players! Introducing children to tennis and encouraging them to cheer on their siblings and friends is part of what makes our tennis community special.

However, our facility is an athletic club, not a playground.

Children who are not participating on the courts must remain supervised by a parent or responsible guardian.

Please help us maintain a safe, comfortable environment by ensuring children are not running through the lobby, climbing on furniture, playing in walkways, or wandering throughout the facility unattended.

We want our youngest visitors to enjoy their time at FLAC while respecting the players, spectators, staff, and other members around them.

A friendly reminder: Supervision is the responsibility of the accompanying adult, even during long tournament days.

Upstairs & Fitness Areas Are for Members Only

While we welcome spectators and tennis families into our designated viewing areas, please remember that access to the upstairs fitness facilities and gym is reserved for FLAC members only.

Being at the club to watch a match or attend a tournament does not provide access to our fitness equipment, indoor track, studios, or other members-only amenities.

For everyone's safety, nonmember spectators and children should remain in designated public and viewing areas unless otherwise authorized by FLAC staff.

We appreciate your help respecting these boundaries so our members can continue enjoying their workouts without unnecessary interruptions.

Keep Your Belongings Close!

Between tennis bags, jackets, water bottles, phones, and other personal items, it's easy to lose track of your belongings during a busy day.

Please keep your valuables and personal items with you, and check your seating area before leaving.

FLAC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal belongings.

Let's avoid leaving items scattered around the lobby or occupying shared seating when they're no longer needed.

Good Sportsmanship Doesn't Stop at the Court!

We often talk about showing respect on the tennis court: playing fairly, encouraging others, and leaving the court ready for the next match.

That same sportsmanship should carry into our shared spaces.

Returning a chair, picking up a wrapper, supervising young spectators, and making room for another family may seem like small gestures, but together they make a big impact.

Our staff works hard to keep Four Lakes Athletic Club clean, safe, and welcoming. A little consideration from everyone helps keep it that way, especially during our busiest tournament weekends.

Let's Rally for a Cleaner Lobby!

To our FLAC tennis players, parents, coaches, families, and visiting spectators: Thank you for being part of our tennis community and helping us put our best foot forward, both on and off the court.

Enjoy the matches. Cheer loudly. Make memories. Connect with your tennis family.

And when the match is over, leave your space ready for the next one!

Great tennis starts with respect. A great tennis community keeps it going everywhere.
