Find Your Match: HEAD Demo Racquets Available to Try at FLAC
Thinking about upgrading your tennis racquet? Before you commit to a new frame, put it to the test.
Four Lakes Athletic Club is excited to offer the full selection of HEAD demo racquets for members to try through Wednesday, October 7. This is your opportunity to take different HEAD models onto the court, feel the difference, and discover which racquet best fits your game.
Why Demo Before You Buy?
Choosing a tennis racquet is personal. Weight, head size, balance, string pattern, power, control, spin potential, and feel can all change the way a racquet performs in your hands.
A racquet that works beautifully for one player may not be the right fit for another.
That's why testing a few options on the court can be so valuable. Instead of relying solely on specifications or recommendations, you can experience the racquet for yourself.
How does it feel on your serve?
How easy is it to generate racquet-head speed?
Do you prefer more power or more control?
How does it feel on your groundstrokes and at the net?
Those are things you can learn much more quickly when you actually play with the racquet.
Explore the HEAD Racquet Lineup
The available HEAD demos include models across several of the brand's popular families, including:
EXTREME – options designed around spin and modern aggressive play
SPEED – a versatile family offering different combinations of power, control, and maneuverability
BOOM – designed with a focus on power, spin, and feel
GRAVITY – options emphasizing spin, control, and a larger sweet spot
RADICAL – a popular all-around line balancing control, spin, and feel
PRESTIGE – performance-oriented options for players looking for precision and control
The demo information also includes racquets with different head sizes, weights, balances, beam profiles, and string patterns, giving you plenty of variables to explore.
Don't Just Look at the Specs - Play With It
Racquet specifications can tell you a lot, but they don't tell the entire story.
Two racquets can have similar specifications and feel completely different when you swing them. Your playing style, experience, swing speed, preferred shots, and personal feel all matter.
If you're currently using the same racquet you've had for years - or you're simply curious about what's new - this is a great chance to experiment.
Grab a demo. Hit the court. Pay attention to what you feel.
Then try another.
